May Round Up

It’s June and here in Oregon it’s heating up. That means that we’ve spent weeks in the 60’s and then one day it’s suddenly 80+ degrees.

Nayeli Soto (1)May is time for one of our quarterly Sponsor Updates through Forever Changed International. Although we personally sponsor a little girl name Nayeli Soto, I love the fact that its my job to post the updates, because I get to see the items for all the children. (Right: Nayeli Soto in her new dance outfit, donated by Traveling Tutu’s.)

In May I also signed new client Testify World. Testify World is a little bit like TedTalks for Christian Testimonies. They have a great video library, that you should definitely go check out. I’ll be helping them improve their website, SEO and social strategy. It’s really exciting to work with this ministry and see where it’s going.

I’ve been working on a new site for Annie’s Project – Education for Farm Women. You can see the new look of the site below. I’ve got all the web development done, now we can begin filling in the content.

win8.1_firefox_37.0During the #‎DriveAcrossAmerica‬ that just started on June 1st I’ll be helping American Agri-Women tweet their progress. Making sure you’re following Women4Ag on twitter for the latest updates.

Towel Day 2015If you are a WordPress developer I stumbled across this amazing pluggin this month:

Forget About Shortcode Buttons.

For me this easily solves a lot of problems making adding call-to-action buttons that match the sites branding a breeze. Check it out and see if it will work for your site.

Most importantly, May 25th was International Towel Day. A celebration of the like of beloved science fiction/humor writer Douglas Adams. We celebrated it by watching Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and knowing where our towels were at all times and reminding ourselves “Don’t Panic.
